The Lobos protected home court in a big way, going a perfect 3–0 at The Pit during their NIT run. New Mexico opened with a dominant 107–83 win over Sam Houston, followed it up with an impressive 86–61 victory over George Washington, and capped it off with an 84–69 win over Saint Joseph’s to punch their ticket to the semifinals.
Behind a balanced attack and strong second-half runs, the Lobos controlled all three games from start to finish, with Jake Hall, Uriah Tenette, and Tomislav Buljan leading the charge.
Riding the momentum of three straight wins at The Pit, the Lobos now head to Hinkle Fieldhouse for the NIT semifinals, where they will face Wichita State on April 2.
