CPS’ Athletes of the Week
- Eldorado runner Gianna Rahmer– Rahmer came in first place at the 2026 Metro Championships, and posted a 18:58 time. Her performance also helped her team capture the 2026 Metro Cup.
- Cleveland QB Michael Denison– Against Sandia, Denison threw 5 TDs, 346 pass yards, and was 14/16 on passes.
- Lovington RB Aidan Ortiz– Against Valencia, Ortiz had 118 rush yards, and 4 TDs.
- Albuquerque Academy soccer player Mira Reddy– The freshman has scored a hat trick in three straight games!
- Tucumcari RB/S Jermy Jones– the junior had 292 all-purpose yards (207 rush yards), 2 TDs, and 1 INT.
- Artesia DB/PR Derrick Ruiz– Ruiz had 3 punt return TDs against Chaparral!
Coach of the Week
-Cleveland football head coach Robert Garza– The Storm defeated Sandia, 56-28, and are now, 7-0 on the season!
Lobo of the Week
-UNM LB Mercury Swaim– Against UTEP, the Lobo linebacker had 9 total tackles, 1.5 TFLs, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble.
